Song Creation & Custom Composition Disclaimer

  • By commissioning a custom song, you are purchasing an original, custom-made work of art. Please review the terms of service and production policies below prior to payment.

    Rights & Publishing Split

    • 50/50 Ownership: Publishing rights, composition rights, and all future royalties/revenue generated by the final song (including sync licensing for film, TV, or media) are split equally (50% Client / 50% Artist).

    • Credit Split: Composition credit is split into three equal components: Lyrics (Client), Music (Artist), and Melody (Artist).

    Payment Policy

    • Upfront Payment Required: Full payment must be processed prior to the start of writing and recording.

    • Buyer Protection: Payments are handled securely via PayPal to protect both parties.

    • No Refunds: Due to the custom, labor-intensive nature of custom music production, all sales are final once work has commenced.

    Delivery Timeline & Updates

    • Turnaround Time: On average, final tracks are delivered within 1–2 weeks. Depending on production schedules, turnaround can range from 2-3 days up to 5 weeks.

    • Production Communication: You will receive regular email updates during the arrangement and recording process, including details on instrumentation and vibe.

    • Delivery Format: Initial previews are sent via email as an MP3. The final high-resolution audio files (WAV format) will be delivered via a Dropbox link.

    Revisions & Edits

    • Minor Edits: Minor adjustments (such as correcting a word pronunciation or minor phrasing tweak) are included at no additional charge.

    • Major Revisions: Major structural changes or complete re-recordings fall outside the scope of minor edits and may incur additional production fees.
