THE NEW DOUBLE SINGLE HAS BEEN RELEASED!!!! 

Planets in the Ocean formed in 2022 as a dynamic indie rock trio, composed of Seattle music veterans Robb Benson (guitar, vocals), Gwon Chang (bass), and Cassady Laton (drums). The three previously played together in the group Stereo Embers, with Cass and Robb sharing an even longer history from their early 2000s band, Dear John Letters, which achieved significant success in the Pacific Northwest.

The trio recently completed their first full-length album for vinyl, with the legendary Ed Brooks putting the final mastering touches on the project. Set for release March 13th at Sleight of Hand Cellars in Seattle. Sleight of hand is co-releasing this album to their exclusive record club in Splatter pink and white clear vinyl. While the band is selling their ocean clear blue versions at shows and in some stores.

 The album was recorded at the renowned Robert Lang Studios with Kevin Younkins and London Bridge Studios with Jonathan Plum (Side London  - Side Lang).

Earlier singles from Planets in the Ocean have already garnered positive press and local airplay, building anticipation for the album’s release. The band has been performing extensively around Seattle and plans to expand their reach to new audiences once the album launches.
